Typically when you walk by a vending machine in the Philadelphia region you see a variety of Tastykake snacks to indulge on. However, in this particular frozen foods vending machine items such as this BIG AZ BubbaTwins are available for purchase. Are we certain that is appropriate for a nationwide corporation work environment?

A few coworkers and I took a trip to Atlantic City again this evening. I had some pretty good luck at the blackjack tables tonight. On the way out, the casino across the parking lot caught my eyes. I mean, how could it not? The whole building appears to be an electronic billboard!

MUST….KEEP….POSTING…..
While “throwing” my clubs into my car’s trunk after a round of golf this morning, I spotted this scene at the far end of the long parking lot. I took a walk to cure my curiosity and snapped a few photographs with my iPhone while I was over there.

I was walking on the streets of Center City Philadelphia this evening on my way to meet up with a few coworkers. At one of the intersections that I needed to cross I stumbled upon this, what appears to be a movie set. I stood around for a couple of minutes trying to hear if anyone was talking about what movie was being filmed. Unfortunately, I never did find out and had to continue on my way.

I was out playing golf this morning when I crossed paths with these deer. I knew that shooting into the low sun would cause lens flare and decided that I would use the flare as an element in the photograph. Although the flare wound up dominating the frame, I am still satisfied with the shot taken by my iPhone 3G.

I snuck out with a coworker today during the early afternoon to play eighteen holes. It was a beautiful afternoon for golf, not too sunny and not completely overcast. Somewhere on the back nine, we encountered this creature hanging out by one of the water features. It was not until I got about thirty yards away from it that I could tell it was a styrofoam ornament. I suppose it was there to try to scare off the many geese in the area.

This is what happens when I realize late that I have not yet taken a photo365 picture for the day and I am forty five minutes away from one of my DSLR’s watching UFC and drinking beers. I guess it could be a lot worse!

Tonight I went out with a handful of coworkers to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day. During our dinner at a very non-Irish bar I snapped this picture from the hip with my iPhone. It certainly is nothing special. It was the dancing lights on the ceiling that I was going after. But due to the iPhone’s lack of a zoom, I got a bunch more than just the lights.

It is settled. The next cell phone that I get MUST have a better camera in it. I tried to carry the Leica point and shoot around with me every where that I went, but being that it does not fit into any of my pockets due to its size it was like I was carrying a murse (man-purse). The camera in my almost two-year old iPhone 3G just does not cut it, indoors or out. The focus is barley ever correct for one. I know this is fixed in the iPhone 3Gs, but being so close to a probable June announcement for the next version of the iPhone, I would be silly to upgrade right now. Hopefully, the next version will have a camera that at least mathces the Verizon Droid’s or Goggle’s Nexus One cameras (5 megapixels each), both with touch to focus functionality.

I was ready to pass out myself when I was taking this shot of our girls sleeping on the bed. The only camera I had available at the time without running all the way downstairs was my iPhone 3G. As some photographers say, the best camera is the one you have with you!
