Typically when you walk by a vending machine in the Philadelphia region you see a variety of Tastykake  snacks to indulge on.  However, in this particular frozen foods vending machine items such as this BIG AZ BubbaTwins are available for purchase.  Are we certain that is appropriate for a nationwide corporation work environment?

A few coworkers and I took a trip to Atlantic City again this evening.  I had some pretty good luck at the blackjack tables tonight.  On the way out, the casino across the parking lot caught my eyes.  I mean, how could it not?  The whole building appears to be an electronic billboard!

MUST….KEEP….POSTING…..

While “throwing” my clubs into my car’s trunk after a round of golf this morning, I spotted this scene at the far end of the long parking lot.  I took a walk to cure my curiosity and snapped a few photographs with my iPhone while I was over there.

Deer Like Golf Too

I was out playing golf this morning when I crossed paths with these deer.  I knew that shooting into the low sun would cause lens flare and decided that I would use the flare as an element in the photograph.  Although the flare wound up dominating the frame, I am still satisfied with the shot taken by my iPhone 3G.

This is what happens when I realize late that I have not yet taken a photo365 picture for the day and I am forty five minutes away from one of my DSLR’s watching UFC and drinking beers.  I guess it could be a lot worse!

My fiancee and I went to the driving range tonight so that I could prepare for my round of eighteen tomorrow.  We brought the Leica with us just in case there was something worth taking a picture of.  While taking a short break, I thought it would be fun to capture some action shots.  This is one of the best from the night.

A few coworkers and I went out in Center City Philadelphia tonight to a bar called Monk’s.  They have an expansive list of Belgian beers available at Monk’s.  Just watch out, the alcohol content on Belgian brews is higher than your typical American beer.  While I was waiting for my partners in crime for the night to show up, I fiddled around with taking some photographs using the Leica point and shoot.  I have not been carrying the Leica around with me as much as I once was, but I was glad I brought it tonight.  This bright red banister against the jet black wall provided a very nice contrast to make an interesting photograph.

It’s Not Comfortable

I captured this image from a second level table at the Continental restaurant in Philadelphia, PA.  Luckily, the table that I had with my coworkers was just a plain old fashioned booth.  I tried sitting in one of the pictured birdcage cage chairs.  As the title of the photograph says, it is not comfortable, trust me.

Tri-color Car Wash

The last few times my fiancee and I have gone to the car wash, I would always say I wished that I had brought the camera with us.  I would always say this during the part of the car wash “ride” when the tri-color foam would squirt onto the car and cause magnificent rainbow colors to appear on all of the windows.  Let me tell you though, that scene has proven difficult for me to capture, at least on the Leica point and shoot.  Today’s photograph is the best attempt from our trip through the wash tunnel this afternoon.  The Leica was able to capture predominantly the blue and green colors.  Unfortunately, the yellows, reds, and pinks, are no where to be scene.  I am going to have to go back to the drawing board on how better to capture all the colors during our next trip to the wash.

Can you guess what this is?  Or even where it can be found in a house?  I had the Leica set on macro mode allowing me to get in nice and close and get a nice gradual out of focus effect as your eyes move from the bottom to the top of the photograph.
